Arias, Jr. has built a career breaking down barriers and ushering leaders of color into leadership positions in some of the world’s most competitive business environments. Through his work as Global Diversity Leader at Korn Ferry, Arias has placed top names in national advocacy organizations and Fortune 50 companies at an equally intense rate. Now Arias takes on a new challenge: as Chairman of the Latino Business Action Network, he’ll organize Latino entrepreneurs — an under-recognized giant of American industry — to flex and shape a new, more accurate narrative about this dynamic landscape.

Victor’s Bio:

Victor Arias, Jr. is a Senior Client Partner in the Dallas office of Korn Ferry. He is a core member of the CEO/Board Services practice and is also the Global Leader of Diversity & Inclusion for the firm. His practice specialties also include Consumer Products, Real Estate and Higher Education.

Mr. Arias boasts more than 20 years of executive recruitment experience with several of the world’s most preeminent search firms, the last 10 with Korn Ferry.

Since 2001, Mr. Arias served on the board of directors of Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen and recently retired after 15 years of service. He is a trustee emeritus for the Stanford University board of trustees, prior member of the Stanford GSB Advisory Council, currently serves on the UTEP Leadership Council and is a past White House Fellows Commissioner. He is also past national president and co-founder of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs, prior member of the Notre Dame Institute of Latino Studies board, and a founding board member of the recently formed Latino Corporate Directors Association, a membership group for Hispanic corporate directors. He is a current member of the Catholic Foundation of Dallas board of trustees and a member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas since 1999.

Mr. Arias earned his MBA from Stanford University and BBA from University of Texas at El Paso where he was named Distinguished Alum in 2009.
